The purpose of the Columbia MSEE FAQ is to provide an extensible repository of information useful to students enrolled in the Masters degree program at the Columbia EE department, as well as other students.
The FAQ attempts to cover all the knotty details of obtaining your MSEE degree including formal requirements and informal advice on how to achieve your goals.
Since the FAQ is aimed specifically at students in the EE department, it focuses mainly on the details and policies set by the department itself. Other conditions arise from the School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS), of which EE is just one department, and Columbia University itself.
